The Next Steps

Alright, I am finally on the grind!!! I don’t know what changed in the past two weeks but I have been more productive than ever before. I’ve already been offered a commission, I did my laundry in one day, and I’ve hung out with some new friends. 

Wait, I think I just figured it out. I went shopping this weekend. Yep, that’s definitely it. There’s just something about spending over $600 that makes you really happy and really driven to make back your money. And yes, you heard that right, $600. I don’t even have a good excuse, and to be honest I don’t regret a thing. I love the new clothes that I got. And I finally bought some of those red ballet flat shoes. My feet are dead after I wear them but the complements keep me going. 

I started a new journal to keep track of what I spend each day. I heard someone say that if you treat your bank account like a mistress, in the sense that you're always looking at it and worrying about it, then it will grow tremendously. At least that's what I remember from the saying, honestly I don’t know if a mistress was involved. Anyway, that's what I am doing. I am going to keep track of it, that way I know how much I am spending, but it's very eye opening. I get way too much coffee. I try to make coffee at home, but it's just not as good and I love saying hi to the baristas at my favorite coffee shops. 

Anyway, I got way off topic. The point of this blog is to tell y’all what I have been working on behind the scenes. If you haven’t looked through all the pages of this website then you may not know that there is a “shop” page. Which you should know because it’s literally right above this blog, but whatever. 

Up until a couple days ago I had no idea what I was going to sell on this website. Welllllll, it’s official, I finally have my products under construction!!!! I am so excited to start sharing the behind the scenes and getting y’alls opinions on the products that I am going to sell. At this moment the only person who I have asked for an opinion is from my best friend and she loves them. I hope y’all will love them too!

I can’t give away all my secrets just yet, but I am going to share the main material that I will be using in this first drop. Clay!!!! And if you know anything about me, I have been taking a pottery class, so do with that what you will. 

I am super excited for this next chapter and figuring out how to navigate running my own business and everything.
